Lucy is a small cat. She likes to walk around her house.
One day, Lucy sees something new. It is big. It is brown. It sits near the door.
Lucy says, "Ooh, what's this?"
"It is a box!" she says. Lucy walks around the box. She looks at it from all sides.
Lucy jumps. She jumps into the box. It is dark inside. It is cozy.
"I like this box," Lucy says. She sits down inside it.
Lucy looks up. She sees something small and light. It moves in the air. It is white.
Lucy says, "Ooh, what's this?"
"It is a feather!" she says. The feather falls slowly. It lands on Lucy's head.
Lucy shakes her head. The feather falls off. She watches it float to the floor.
Lucy jumps out of the box. She wants to play. She pushes the box with her paws.
The box moves a little. Lucy pushes again. The box moves more.
"This is fun!" Lucy says. She pushes the box across the floor.
The box stops near a window. Lucy looks outside. She sees something moving in the garden. It is small and grey.
Lucy says, "Ooh, what's this?"
"It is a mouse!" she says. The mouse runs fast. It goes under a leaf. Lucy watches closely.
The mouse does not come out. Lucy waits. Then she turns around.
"Maybe next time," she says.
Lucy walks back to her box. She jumps inside again. It is still cozy. It is still dark.
Lucy curls up. She closes her eyes. The box is warm and quiet.
"This is my favorite spot," Lucy says softly.
See you next time, Lucy!
